## One Twisted Softail
Twenty-year-old Andrew Foit from Concord, Ohio, sent us some photos of this custom ride built by his dad Jeff “Butch” Foit, owner of B and M Customs. As you can see Butch, who has been building bikes for more than 30 years put a ton of work into this Softail. He made the twisted handlebars and swingarm from scratch. He also fabricated the trick rear fender mounting and taillight. The orange-flaked bike even took First Place in the Rat’s Hole best bike contest at Daytona Beach Bike Week.

## Deluxe Lady in Red
Mary Preuss from Wildwood, Missouri, sent in some snaps of her ’08 Softail Deluxe that she outfitted with a 96ci Stage 1 Screamin’ Eagle kit and some Harley “Switchback” Radical Paint tins. The bike also has a set of Klock Werks bars that were wired internally before being kitted with a set of chrome controls. To up the chrome ante, a set of Klock Werks mufflers were bolted on, as well as a chromed-out frontend.

## Semper-Fi XR
Joe Pool spent four years in the Marines working as a welder, then used his G.I. Bill to get a bachelor’s degree in physics. He now spends his days as a software developer. Being always faithful to both the Marines and Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Joe combined the two into a highly modified XR1200. The custom “Devil Dog” green painted XR boasts a ThunderMax with Auto Tuner, V&H; Stainless pipes, Ohlins shocks, Lucas Streetfighter handlebars, and a 38-tooth main drive kit.

## Confuzion
Houston’s own Samuel Holmes III dropped us some snaps of his ’04 Dyna Wide Glide. It’s a garage-built bike that has many riders and passersby wondering just what kind of bike it really is. To make it more bagger-like, this FXDWG has been outfitted with RWD fenders, Renegade wheels, Boss bags, and a Southwest Cycle fairing. It is something that is a little different from the legions of ordinary Wide Glides on the road, but we think it’s really cool.

## Scorchin’ Softy
Michael Creighton from Vacaville, California, bought this Softail in 2006 in stock condition and it took him two years to build it the way he wanted. All of the work was done in his garage with help from Pacific Coast Customs who did the 95-inch engine build. Mike’s pals at Vivid Dragon did the killer flamed paint. Not bad for a DIY bike build. Not bad at all.

## Painted Prostreet
Tim Middlestetter who runs BTTB Paint Shop built this ’07 pro street custom with help from his friend, Sam Park, at South Side Custom Cycles. It took them 10 months to build ,with parts including an S&S; 96ci motor, a Kraftech frame, Demon Cycles wheels, and a Rinehart exhaust. The bike was expertly painted by Tim using a brandy wine base with black scallops outlined in hugger orange and gray.

## Skully Sporty
Jonathan Estrada from San Diego emailed us some photos of his ’92 Harley Sportster 883 XLH that he calls Stacy. He bought it as his first motorcycle and quickly changed as much of the bike as he could. It was converted to a 1200 and the rest of the engine was blacked. The frontend was raked out 5 degrees with 4-inch-over forks and Küryakyn was used for the handgrips, levers, and forward controls. John did his own work on the tank and made a mold of a skull and went for a truly custom tank. Nice work!
