As part of Harley Davidson’s unveiling of the 2016 line up came the news of a Harley releasing a big bore kit for riders wanting to step up the performance of the 103-inch engine to a more powerful 110-inch. This upgrade includes a completely new throttle body to feed the bigger engine. As a leading manufacturer of custom billet Harley parts, Precision Billet has announced their new 58mm throttle backing plate and Air Cleaner set up to keep up with performance modification.

The new backing plate will work with the existing family of Precision Billet Air Cleaners. For customers who already have made the leap to Precision’s top-of-the-line parts, the new backing plate will allow them to use their existing faceplate and hardware and only requires the purchase of the new backing plate to keep their rides fresh. Harleys big bore kits make all bikes throttle-by wire. The 58mm Big Bore backing plate will be available in Show Chrome or in Black Gloss Powder Coat. (shown here in raw aluminum).
