I started out in the race car industry, and after about 10 years, I really got burnt out on it. Motorcycles gave me a way to be more creative with metal. I also love to ride.
What is the future of the motorcycle industry?
I have no clue, I just hope it doesn’t go back to fat-tire bikes. I’m not down.
What is your greatest achievement?
Running a successful fab shop for 10 years.
What is your biggest regret?
No regrets, you live and learn.
Who inspires you?
Mike Desmond, Shinya Kimbra, Mike Romero
What was your first bike?
A 1978 Yamaha YZ80 when I was nine. My first chopper was a special construction Panhead I built about five years ago.
What is your all-time favorite bike?
It’s a Hells Angels Shovelhead from the 70’s, with American Racing mags, 41mm front end, and Hurst Airheart dual disc brakes. Its Bad!
What are you currently building?
1941 Knucklehead.
