C&S Customs knocks weight off of your Harley Dyna

Earlier today, C&S Custom announced the launch of its high-performance, lightweight and aerospace-quality swingarms for late-model Harley-Davidson Dyna motorcycles. The new arms reduce unsprung weight by 20 lbs.

C&S Custom utilizes proven technology to deliver a custom look at affordable prices. The swingarm is machined in-house using only military aircraft-quality 6061 T6 aluminum. It’s specified by C&S because of its tensile strength, fatigue limit, and resistant to corrosion even when the surface is abraded.

“It is generally recognized that road handling characteristics are enhanced by reducing a machine’s unsprung weight,” explained Steve Garwood, General Manager. “All things being equal, a lighter motorcycle will accelerate faster, stop faster, and be easier to turn when changing direction; so when looking for performance, lighter is better.”

Enthusiasts can select stock lengths up to 10″ over stock. C&S Custom supplies both single units and full kits, which include fasteners, caliper, wheel and chain, depending upon what is required. The units are designed for Dynas from 2006 to present.

C&S Custom recommends a professional installation. Pro-consumers who have mechanical ability should budget a weekend for the conversion.
