Klock Werks Flare Windshield

Air Management Choices, Now for Motorcycles Without a Fairing

Klock Werks has set out to improve air flow on all motorcycles, including those without fairings. Non-faired bikes such as the Road King, Softail, Dyna, even Sportsters and Yamaha V-Stars, can get the same performance and style with bolt-on ease that the original and patented Flare Windshields offer riders that have fairings on their bikes.

The Flare features “hips” at the outer edge of the shield that re-route the air to add down force to the front of the bike. The “flip” at the top of the Flare is designed to kick the air up and back as “clean”, less turbulent air for the rider and passenger. The Flare is manufactured from hard-coated polycarbonate material for added durability.

“The Billboard Flare was designed specifically for bikes that don’t have fairings. We took the same concept and tested it with a variety of bikes and different heights of riders to achieve the same performance and style goals we set for all of our Flare options,” stated Brian Klock, President, Klock Werks. The Billboard Flare is a replacement shield, designed to work with factory mounting brackets and hardware.

“We didn’t just stop with the replacement windshield! Next we designed a version of our popular NAVBag to work with your non-fairing mounted windshield and factory mounting brackets,” shared Laura Klock, VP and Marketing Director at Klock Werks. The NAVBag is a multi-functional windshield bag that is available for use with your Billboard Flare Windshield, and other non-fairing mounted windshields. This innovative water resistant bag features a powerful magnetic closure and a special compartment that securely displays your GPS, cell phone, or other device behind a protective screen. The NAVBag has dual accessory cable ports, and a large storage capacity for your personal items. Mounting is simple and utilizes the top center-mounting hole on the windshield.

The Billboard Flare Windshield and NAVBag is currently available at www.kustombaggers.com, Drag Specialties dealers, and at motorcycle events this summer.
