2020 Harley-Davidson LiveWire Walkaround
360-degree video of H-D’s new electric motorcycle
Amidst its 115th anniversary celebration, Harley-Davidson just unveiled the 2020 LiveWire electric motorcycle. The all-new bike sat parked next to the Harley-Davidson Museum, though we were not able to see it start or run. We currently have no specs on the bike, but there’s a good amount you can tell just by looking.
Both the swingarm and trellis frame look to be cast aluminum, and I would wager that the bolt-on tubular subframe is steel. Brembo calipers, inverted fork, and a rear monoshock give us confidence that this thing will handle and stop well, but we’re eager to see its final weight. The belt drive seems to be an obvious choice and the rearsets are tucked nicely behind the motor for an aggressive stance. The brushed aluminum bodywork with all of the blacked-out battery/motor components looks really good and I definitely heard the Buell name more than once from the crowd viewing the bike, but that’s common anytime H-D does something overly uncharacteristically sporty.
We’re excited to get more information on this new motorcycle and will pass it on to you as soon as we have it!
